What have others experienced?

I feel that I have benefitted hugely from taking counselling sessions with Trang. Whilst I initially wanted to overcome issues with anxiety and stress, I have gained so much more than that. I feel that I have gained more confidence, assertiveness and I now have the ability to set clear boundaries with my family members and at work. Trang allowed me to delve deeper into my true feelings above the surface level of day to day life and explore how my childhood experiences continue to affect me as an adult. Since having these sessions I have developed more compassion for myself and I am able to more easily connect to my own feelings and align with my inner values. I feel that Trang has given me the space and support to bloom into the most authentic version of myself. I wholeheartedly recommend Trang as a counsellor.

I had been putting off doing therapy for a while, but the decision to start with Trang is one I’ll always be happy with. I began therapy with a lot of ideas about how I ‘should’ be but she has taught me that the only thing that matters is listening to yourself. I have learned to process emotions in a way that suits me and I have most certainly gained a better sense of self awareness. I am kinder to myself. She has guided me gently but effectively and provided me with the help I need to help myself! I am genuinely excited to keep doing the work and I am so grateful to have gotten the help I needed.  Thank you Trang!

Trang has been a fantastic support for the past few months, I have gained so much insight about myself and she has given me the tools to keep working on this in the future. The sessions are in-depth and have pushed me to open up and accept my vulnerabilities. I have learnt so much about self-acceptance, compassion and the value of being your authentic self. I’m so grateful for taking the leap and doing these sessions. Thank you Trang.

What is my therapeutic approach?

Psychosynthesis is the key approach for my therapeutic work, centred on the premise that every person’s natural state of being is one of synthesis, unity and wholeness. The journey that we will take together is not about fixing or changing who you are, but seeing difficulties as signals or “signposts”, that if followed, explored and worked through, will help you reconnect with your most authentic self.

Learning how to identify and remove barriers that may have unconsciously been constructed over time, will inevitably lead you to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Together we will create a non-judgemental, accepting and compassionate space, enabling you to explore what may be emerging through your struggle so you may bloom beautifully into who you are meant to be.

Do you want to know more about me?

My name is Trang [pronounced ‘Chang’], a Psychosynthesis Counsellor. By receiving support from a psychotherapist and life coach for my own ongoing psychospiritual journey, it sparked in me the deep heart-felt desire to support others too. For those who wish to not walk the path alone, I hope to be a fellow traveller so they may experience being in bloom.

I have encountered many struggles along my own personal journey, (e.g. identity issues, shame and a painful desire to belong coming from growing up ethnically Vietnamese in Romania; depression; an existential crisis searching for life purpose and vocation, relationship difficulties; etc.) but now through the lens of Psychosynthesis I have come to see these as ‘signposts’ showing me the way towards the path of creating a new life that is now more aligned with my authentic self, my core values and purpose in life.

What qualifies me to help you?

I am a qualified Psychosynthesis Counsellor, with a Masters Degree in Psychosynthesis Psychology.

I hold membership with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and  subscribe to their Code of Ethics.

Also, as a certified HeartMath Coach, I use scientifically proven techniques to help you build your capacity for self-regulation and emotional resilience.
